Gülşah YEŞİLKURT from Yildiz Technical University will give a talk titled “Link Prediction Methods and Their Accuracy for Different Social Networks and Network Metrics" on December 12, 2018, at 15.30 in the room E-2032.
All interested are welcome.
Abstract: Link prediction is an important research area in network science due to a wide range of real-world application. In this area, one of the actively researched topics is the prediction of social connections between users. In this talk, I will give definition and some examples of link prediction problems and then, I will state their links to Graph Theory. Also, I will mention a number of methods of link prediction and their accuracy for certain social network and network metrics
